A Village Cooperative (Kopdes) is a community-based economic institution established and managed at the village or sub-district (kelurahan) level. Its members consist of local residents who live in the same village, verified by their national identity cards (KTP). The primary goal of a Kopdes is to improve the economic welfare of its members and the broader rural community through collective businesses based on the principles of mutual cooperation (gotong royong) and family spirit
